About a year or so I entered a photography package into our local high school booster club charity event… it was auctioned off for a good cause and well this family won the bid… well we have been in contact back and fourth ever since her youngest son was born about a year ago… We finally got to plan a date and shot the session this afternoon and I was looking forward to it. Her boys are so sweet and like any other 1 and 4 year old, mom and dad had bribed them with some ice cream afterwards… yummy! Anyway, dad’s face may seem just a little familiar to a few of you Dawg fans out there… he’s probably one of the greatest QB’s that the NCAA has ever seen and I was a bit star-struck at first, but what a down to earth guy… enjoyed the evening shooting him and his family… Maybe, just maybe I become his go to receiver… i mean photographer =). Big Sister, Little Sister :: {north ga photographer}
Ahhhhh it feels great to be shooting again, I had my first shoot this past Monday since my amazing senior session a few weeks back… this session pretty much marked an end to my well planned, well deserved break… now it’s time to hit the gas wide open an knock out these weddings and other sessions booked in the coming weeks and months. This session was nice because I got to take some shots of 1 year old Gracie and just about a year or so ago I shot her bigger sister at the same age…. well both were present at this session and we got some great shots… here is a quick sneak peek… check them out ::
5 Days… 5 Months… :: { scott greene photography }
Remember little Ford from a few months ago…? (5 days old). Well mister Ford is now 5 month old! I love seeing the changes between the first few days of life to the first few months…. such a big change. Well yesterday was Ford’s number 2 session of what was my First Year package. We got some great shots and we went backdrop free as well just shooting around on the furniture and different parts of the house… I actually like that a little better and it looks like Ford did as well… check out a few of these ::
Parker is One :: { athens ga photographer }
Mr. Parker turned one! We have completed his Crib, Crawl and Walk series… and walk is actually an understatement, this kid can fly! For a 13 month old Parker was FAST! In between Parker’s shots and his Olympic sprints we worked his cute big sister into th esession Ms. Anna Kate. She was a little shy at first but quickly warmed up to the camera and started super modeling it towards the end of the shoot. Here are a few sneak peeks from this past Thursday’s session ::
Ford is 5… Days Old! :: { jefferson ga photographer }
Those that know me and know my work best has probably saw a slight shift in my photography focus… While I enjoy shooting all kinds of sessions I have shifted a lot of my focus to mainly weddings and seniors. I still love shooting the kids and will continue, but the newborns have always been a slight challenge for me… and also if you know me I am always up for a good challenge. Scott and Candice, new parents as of just 5 days ago, and friends of mine… told me some 8 months ago that I would be shooting their new arrival… and while shooting a limited number of newborn sessions each year… when they told me I gladly accepted (Scott is an ex-Marine… so I wasn’t going to tell him no =). Well the day had came and so had little Ford. Such a cute lil boy and so well behaved at just 5 days he was a pleasure to shoot… heck I would even shoot a newbie like him again =). I will be documenting Ford’s first year of life this year as they got my babies first year package… so stay tuned to watch this guy grow… until the next 3 month session here are a few from this one… welcome to the world Ford ::

Blog post number 3 for me tonight, but I just had to finish this session because it was soo sweet. This is pretty cool because Cassie has been cutting my hair for several years now and over those years I have heard stories of her engagement, of her wedding, of her pregnancy and now I finally got the chance to take pictures of lil Meadow her one year old daughter! I tell you what though… if she works the camera when she gets older like she did today… moma and daddy might have a lil super model on their hands =) Here are a few sneak peeks from today’s session:
Triplets at Hurricane Shoals {Children Photographer}
Session two of the Crib, Crawl and Walk package with these three little triplets…. If you ever thought shooting a six month old was tough, try 3! These guys did well though…. the adults out numbered the kids by one. Mom and dad brought help in the form of grandparents. We decided on Hurricane Shoals Park for this session…. it was close by and we were all familiar with it but boy was it HOT! Anyway here is a sneak peek from the session:
Macy T: Year One Done {kids photographer}
Ms. Macy’s Year One package is a wrap. We took her final session pictures of the package this past Sunday and like the other 3 sessions she did not disappoint. Macy has always been a well tempered baby or at least every time that I have had the opportunity to shoot her…. I will admit she was a bit more challenging this go around as she was walking, talking, laughing and clapping but I managed to grab her attention for some great shots…. here are a few from the session:
Brady Heath Part II { Founders Garden at UGA }
So it was time for little Brady’s pictures again… This kid has grown so much since the first time I met him at 6 months old. He has the kind of eyes that every photographer loves to shoot…. BIG and BLUE! Brady was a champ this past Sunday… not one cry not even one whimper. Can’t wait to shoot lil Heath Jr again… Check out some of the shots from the session:
Little Parker at Hurricane Shoals
Little Parker is one of my Crib, Crawl and Walk sessions… we just took the 6 month part of it and he did great. It was a little cold, a little windy and even a little damp… but he was trooper and didn’t even give the first cry. We shot at Hurricane Shoals for the second session and it was a good choice. We got several different settings and a lot of great pictures. Here is a little sneak peek from yesterday’s shoot!
Baby Spear
I have had the pleasure of taking pictures of little Blake since he was 3 months old and that was some 3 years ago… well I just met Blake’s new baby brother tonight… baby brother Bryant is a little over 2 weeks old. Like his older brother, he was very easy to shoot… with the help of a hairdryer and a patient mom. We got some a lot of good pictures and here are just a few from the session.
Baby Simmons is Growing Fast
This was my second time shooting little Baby Simmons. She just turned 9 months old and she is so cute. I’m not sure if she likes me yet or not…. she tends to cry when I come around but, just like last time… despite her being a little scared of me…. I still managed to get some great shots… (thanks to the grandparents being there to entertain her). No seriously she did well for it to be 45 degrees outside and sitting on very cold concrete. Baby Parker… 3 Month Session
Little Parker is right at three months old… Robin his mom contacted me awhile back to book one of my Crib, Crawl & Walk Sessions ( http://www.greeneworks.net/2010babies.pdf )… well these are fun sessions that document parts of a baby’s first year. This was part one of a three part session. We got in about a good hour of shooting before little Mr. Parker was done and sound asleep. Here is a quick sneak peek from the session this morning:
The Peckrul Triplets
So… this is a funny story, Jackie contacted me about a month ago about purchasing a Crib, Crawl & Walk Session and like any photographer who gets a chance to sell a package deal I was thrilled. THEN she laid it on me that she had a set of triplets… I won’t lie, I was a little hesitant and after she insisted that I would do fine… I took the challenge. Well I am glad that I did because these little guys and gal were a delight to shoot. This session actually went smoother than most of my solo baby sessions. The Thomas Family
I had the opportunity to combine two shoots into one today. These guys were the recipient of one of my gift certificates and they redeemed it today. We had plans for a mini 3 month session and a combined family session. Like all 0-3 month sessions it started a little slow but as soon as the little one was ready, we got some very good shots and ended with a great family session. Ms. Truelove Now 6 Months Old…
Little Macy is now 6 months old and I have had the pleasure of getting to document important miles stones thus far in her first year… As part of the “Baby’s First Year” package, we have arrived at the fun 6 month old pictures. She has always had a great demeanor to work with… always smiles, always calm and hardly ever any crying. The pictures turned out great b/c we were outside in the great GA fall weather… plus she was the first shoot with a new camera of mine, so that was pretty exciting for me too I must say… here are a few pictures from the session:
Little Miss Ella… now a year old!
I must say that this is one of the joys of being a photographer…especially when it comes to kids… getting the chance to watch them grow and document the special milestones in their life is just neat. The first time i met little miss Ella… i believe she was six months old and now too shoot her at one year; is pretty cool. It was a hot-hot and very muggy day… we just missed the rain by minutes but it left us a nice sauna feeling outside, she was a trooper though and did’nt fuss until the very end… and even then i think she was telling me in her own way to… “hurry it up camera boy!”. Little Brady…
I had the pleasure of shooting a beautiful little 6 month old… Brady! His dad is an old friend of mine from several years back… the contacted me to purchase my “Crib, Crawl and Walk” package, but we modified it to “6mnth , 1yr and 2yr” packages… ( any of my baby packages are customizable). It was raining outside so we really couldn’t take advantage of the outdoors so we improvised and shot all around the house… here are a few sneaks from the shoot…
Simmons Three Month…
I was contacted by Amanda to shoot a her 3 month old. I never put the last name together, but come to find out her husband is an old friend way back from high school… small world huh? I’ll take this time to give Jay a free plug…. “if anybody needs and quick and reliable service on their heating and air untis… call Simmons out of Commerce…” Anyway here are a few quick sneaks of lil Katie..
Macy Mae Truelove… First Year
Three months already! Little Macy Mae just turned three months old and we shot session number 2 out of 4 from the Babies First Year Package. Three months are fun but like any other first year shoot… we are on their schedule…lol. I am really looking forward to the 6 month shoot this fall also, but here are a few a pictures from Tuesday.
bABEy PEEVY =)
So Brittany and Chris are new parents as of this past Tuesday…. I shot their maternity pictures a few months back as part of their “Belly to Baby” session ( http://www.greeneworks.net/2010babies.pdf ). Abe was a trooper, he did really well and didn’t cry hardly at all. Thanks to dad being such a great hair dryer helper… anyway here are a few of my favorite shots from the shoot.
Little Brantley…
This past Saturday’s shoot went awesome… little Brantley really knows how to work the camera and the best part is she is only 11 months old! A great personality and a precious smile was the right combination for this shoot. We really got some amazing pictures and I hope to work with lil Miss.Brantley in the future!
Happy Mothers Day…
So this shoot here means a lot to me because I finally got a chance to somewhat return a favor to a friend of mine. Long story short I am good friends with the Donna and Jason… well Donna is a great webdesigner and she built my very first website for a really good deal…. so in return i was going to do some pictures for her and her family…well she never got around to doing it… anyway i got with jason and we planed a secrete photo shoot of the kids while she was away in NYC… welp here it is!
Truelove. No Pun Intended!
Nobody really knows true love until you have a child of your own. Taylor and Brittany Truelove now have the enjoyment of experiencing this first hand. Today I had the honor of taking the first official pictures of little Macy. Probably the best newborn shoot that I have ever had… I think she liked me because she didn’t cry… much!
