This Is Real :: {atlanta ga wedding photographer}

Last wedding of my 2012 season… what a great one to end on! An awesome bride, great weather and wonderful help! This bride Ashley… (to a lot of you that follow my work a good bit)… will look very familiar to you…. Just take a look at some of these post (click here). This is a lot different than what you may have seen her in some of my previous works….. they were hands down great, but this was REAL and wow could you ever tell it. The connection between her and Shane is just picture perfect… no pun intended!! While Ashley has always been the camera’s best friend… her new hubby Shane worked it pretty well just being himself! These guys had a first a look and a little birdie told me that Shane wasn’t crazy about the idea… he wanted to keep it traditional… well for all of you on the fence about a first look… th esame little birdie told me that after the night was over… that he was kinda glad they had it because of the powerful moment between the two of them…. but that’s his secrete i won’t tell anyone else =) So check out some of these amazing shots from an amazing wedding… and thanks Ashley for helping to get to where I am due to your amazing shoots in the past… maybe we’ll work together in the future too….

Piedmont Park Engagement :: { atlanta ga wedding photographer }

Ahhh… my second time ever at Piedmont Park and my first time back since my wonderful wedding there last April (Great Wedding BTW). Meet Kim and Allen… Kim works just a rock throw from the park and wanted the skyline in a few shots. Well it’s quite th edrive for me to the ATL but I am up for pleasing my clients… and even though I knew nothing about the park, I have a great group of photographer friends in my group JPG (Joining Photographers in GA) that i turned too for some cool locations inside and boy did they come thru for me. Not only did we get some great skyline shots, BUT we even beat a storm coming thru and got some awesome clouds as well… =). Besides the 97 degree weather… (thats 36 Celsius for any of my Canadian peeps reading)… we had a great shoot and got some amazing pictures =) ::

Big City Wedding :: {atlanta wedding photographer}

March Maddness…. wedding style! Shot another great wedding at The Cathedral of Christ the King. Its a very beautiful church but be prepared to get in and get out as it is a revolving door for weddings all day long… Shooting wedding #2 here under NRP and here are a few of the shots….

No Rain Today :: { atlanta ga wedding photographer }

I got the privileged of shooting with AGW Photography this weekend in Atlanta. As always I love to side shoot and try to any chance I can when I have weekends off from my own booked weddings! This wedding actually extended my streak… my “rain free” streak… 56 weddings shot and not a rain out yet…. I should really use this as a selling feature…LOL. I really like the Atlanta venues as they add a slightly bit different look than most venues around my area. I met Courtney and Ben obviously the day of the wedding…. and what a really great couple and a good looking couple at that =). Here are just a few images from the big day as a side shooter… enjoy! :

Old Friend… New Start at The Carl House :: {atlanta wedding photographer}

An old friend of mine from years past (about 12 to be exact) just recently had a new start with her wonderful wedding on October 21st. Ellwyn got married at The Carl House in Auburn GA. I have had the privileged of shooting there once before and I have several booked there already in 2012… great venue and a great staff. Anyway Ellwyn contacted me sometime ago about shooting her wedding… needless to say I was excited because I had lost touch with her as she moved around the countryside. Living out in TX they were headed back this way to get married and well we booked it and made it happen. This was my last official wedding of the year, as I have one more to go that I am side shooting this month… It’s been a great wedding year and here are some great pictures from Ellwyn’s special day ::

Wedding at Callanwolde Arts Center { atlanta photographer }

So… I think I have stated many times before… I LOVE TO SIDE SHOOT!!!!! =) I have various photographers that side shoot with me and in return they use me from time to time… well this past Saturday I had the privileged to shoot with the very talented Allyson Warrington of AGW Photography. The location of the wedding was a very beautiful place. The Callanwolde Fine Arts Center. So many photographic areas to shoot on the outside and on the inside. Here are just a few of my shots from the wedding:

Michael and Meredith Married At Last: Piedmont Park and Park Tavern Wedding

Sooo what a GREAT way to start off my weddings season. Talk about raising the bar for the rest of the year, WOW!…. I got the privilege of shooting friend of mine’s wedding this past Saturday. I would be lying if I said that I have not been getting anxious to shoot it… 1) it’s my first “official” wedding of this season… 2) its at Piedmont Park and Park Tavern…. Ummm what better venue could a photographer want to build up the ol’ portfolio. Well the day had finally arrived after weeks of preparation and planning. I must say… I never really knew Meredith or have ever really hung around her with Michael, but she is the most genuine and was surprisingly the most laid back bride on such a big day… weather reports had rain in them, the park itself had 2500+ people in the background, but she took it in stride and I got some of the best emotional pictures that I have ever gotten from any one bride before. I could definitely tell as I went back through the pictures that the love that these guys have for each other will last forever. (PS – to all my brides the rest of this season… crying pictures are the BEST!!! =). Oh and Michael I won’t tell anybody that you teared up either… shhhhh. Anyway enough of me babbling… here are a few pictures… sorry for so many but there were just too many damn good ones!!! Thanks Guys ( M&M ).
